We got a chance to review the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL some time ago, and we were blown away. The keyboard offers a minimal look, but still packs plenty of features. The keyboard feels comfortable after a long day, and the customization options should leave most people satisfied.
Naturally, the brand has made small revisions to the keyboard since then, and its Gen 3 model is even better. Of course, the price tag is still quite high, with this model costing $240 at retail. Luckily, we’re now seeing a steep discount from Amazon and Best Buy that drops it down to $180.
A fantastic keyboard if you’re looking for something new
We’ve highlighted this keyboard in the past and had nothing but good things to say about it. What really sets this one apart from other mechanical keyboards is the ability to adjust the actuation. And this can be done for each key, making it an extremely highly-tuned experience for those who need it.
When it comes to the hardware, this keyboard packs SteelSeries OmniPoint 3.0 switches, along with customizable RGB lighting and an OLED display. The keyboard has a fairly solid build, and you get PBT keycaps for enhanced durability. Everyone’s going to have their preferences, but this is going to be one of the more complete experiences that’s perfect for gaming.
