The Dutch National Police arrested a 21-year-old man from Dordrecht as part of a cybercrime investigation by Team Cybercrime Oost-Brabant. The suspect is believed to have distributed a tool known as JokerOTP, a bot used to intercept one-time passwords (OTPs) used to secure online accounts and financial transactions. Police suspect the Dordrecht resident of selling the bot through a Telegram account and of holding license keys associated with it. This marks the third arrest in the investigation. Threat actors began targeting a recently patched BeyondTrust vulnerability shortly after a proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit was released. The critical flaw is tracked as CVE-2026-1731 and it affects BeyondTrust Remote Support (RS) and Privileged Remote Access (PRA). The vulnerability can be exploited for unauthenticated remote code execution using specially crafted requests. Cloudflare launched a feature that converts HTML pages to markdown when AI systems request it. Sites on its network can now serve lighter content to bots without building separate pages. The feature, called Markdown for Agents, works through HTTP content negotiation. An AI crawler sends a request with Accept: text/markdown in the header.
