We are officially living in the AI era, and as I explore the world of new AI apps at my own pace, I’m discovering some tools that are not only worth using but also worth sharing with the ShoutMeLoud community because they genuinely make our lives simpler.

There is always this itch to build my own AI tools using something like OpenClaw or Claude, and that’s something I encourage many of you to explore as well. At the same time, there are several apps being developed with strong focus and that have already built active communities around them. One such app is Toki AI.

What is Toki AI Calendar App ?

Toki is perhaps one of the simplest yet most powerful AI calendar apps you can find on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. When I was searching for an AI-powered calendar app, I came across several options like Reclaim and others. However, my needs are quite simple—I wanted something that could take care of my calendar management the way an imaginary assistant would.

After trying many apps, for now I settled with Toki AI app for many reasons:

    1. It is by far the simplest AI calendar app which integrates with all popular calendar apps like Google Calendar, Apple calendar, Outlook to name a few.
    2. You can add or modify your calendar with a voice message.
    3. It can extract the details from a screenshot like your travel itinerary and add details in the calendar from there.
    4. It can makes call to you for urgent events, which is similar to your assistant calling you at the last moment for you to not miss anything important.
    5. The app is practically free for light use, and then there are paid options for unlimited usage.

After using the Toki AI calendar app free for a few months, I updated to a paid plan for unlimited usage.

Built your own or use Toki or other AI calendar app?

If you’re a geek who loves playing with the latest tech, building your own solution for personal use can be rewarding and cost-saving in the long run. However, depending on your requirements and usage, you can experiment with Toki for now and gradually integrate its features into your OpenClaw setup over time.

Alternatively, you could simply continue using an app like Toki for now and later move to something that integrates with your personal operating system and your AI. This is how I’m approaching it for now.

Let me know which AI Calendar app are you using these days and why? How’s your journey with AI going on and where you are at in the journey?

    Thanks for your feedback!
