Inbound marketing is a method of growing your business by building lasting relationships with consumers, prospects, and clients through “pulling” tactics such as SEO, content marketing, social media, video marketing, and more. These practices inherently build more trust than outbound “awareness style” marketing and, as a result, create 54% more leads. What’s even more interesting is that consistent inbound marketing (over a period of about 5 months) can drop your overall lead cost by 80%. These stats are powerful, but they barely scratch the surface of why it’s important to understand inbound marketing and do it well. To start, you…

As Lifehacker has previously argued, YouTube Premium is probably the best streaming service for most people. Ads can eat into your free time faster than you might realize, and because YouTube’s user-generated videos can be quite short, they’re especially annoying there—and blocking them without a paid subscription is tough. YouTube Premium is also a bit pricey as streaming services go, at $14/month. Fortunately, the company also offers a “Premium Lite” plan that’s much cheaper—and thanks to the recent addition of a few key features, it no longer pales in comparison to a full subscription. In fact, the $8/month YouTube Premium…

A vulnerability in GitHub Codespaces could have been exploited by bad actors to seize control of repositories by injecting malicious Copilot instructions in a GitHub issue. The artificial intelligence (AI)-driven vulnerability has been codenamed RoguePilot by Orca Security. It has since been patched by Microsoft following responsible disclosure. “Attackers can craft hidden instructions inside a GitHub issue that are automatically processed by GitHub Copilot, giving them silent control of the in-codespaces AI agent,” security researcher Roi Nisimi said in a report. The vulnerability has been described as a case of passive or indirect prompt injection where a malicious instruction is…

Google Wallet added support for digital passports in 2024, and Apple Wallet gained digital passport support last year. Whether you use an iPhone or an Android phone, you can add your U.S. passport to your phone’s digital wallet app. The two largest mobile operating systems finally support this feature, but now, it’s up to the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to accept digital passports at security checkpoints. Surprisingly, the TSA rose to the challenge — it already accepts digital IDs at more than 250 airport checkpoints.

Forescout introduced Forescout VistaroAI, which thinks like a security expert instead of a chatbot. It eliminates the need for prompt engineering by delivering role-based automation with human-in-the-loop control, resulting in faster, more accurate risk decisions and an improved user experience compared to prompt-driven AI assistants. Forescout VistaroAI provides users with a personalized view of the tasks that require attention, prioritized based on that organization’s environment and packaged with the context needed to act. Instead of chasing signals across multiple tools, teams can quickly understand what shifted in their environment overnight, why it matters, and which remediation actions to take first.…

That restriction appears to have been lifted, allowing eligible accounts to include store visit conversions in their primary goal configuration. The update means nonprofits and local organizations can now align bidding and optimization with physical visits — particularly impactful for visibility in Maps placements…

Microsoft is expanding data loss prevention (DLP) controls to block the Microsoft 365 Copilot AI assistant from processing confidential Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, regardless of their location. This change will be deployed through the Augmentation Loop (AugLoop) Office component between late March and late April 2026 to ensure that DLP controls apply to all Office documents, whether they are stored locally, in SharePoint, or OneDrive. “This enhancement responds to customer feedback requesting more consistent protection coverage across local…
