Google keeps coming back to the same message this year: your AI is only as good as the data feeding it. That message has shown up across the Ads Decoded podcast, Data Manager updates, tagging guidance, partner integrations, and now even developer-focused content like the Ads DevCast podcast. It seems to reflect a broader shift in how Google expects campaigns to be built and optimized. The issue is not that advertisers lack data. Most accounts have plenty of it. The problem is how that data has been structured, selected, and fed into bidding systems over time. As Google leans further…

The non-profit MITRE Corporation on Thursday released a new framework to help organizations fight fraudsters.  MITRE’s Fight Fraud Framework (MITRE F3) is a curated knowledge base that provides a behavior-based model of the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) fraudsters employ, informed by real-world attacks. “These incidents involve the intentional use of deceptive or illegal practices to fraudulently obtain money, assets, or information from individuals or institutions, and include actions carried out over cyber channels,” MITRE says. The framework offers a common structure and taxonomy describing cyber fraud incidents and is meant to enable stronger collaboration on fraud detection, prevention, and…

The Rubin platform was expected to see early adoption among hyperscalers and AI-native companies, which have the infrastructure to support high-density systems, advanced cooling, and tightly integrated architectures. Hyperscalers to absorb shock Typically, hyperscalers lead early adoption of advanced GPUs, deploying them internally and through cloud platforms, with enterprises gaining access later via APIs and services over the next 6-12 months. “Hyperscalers (will) absorb the initial shock by extending Blackwell lifecycles and prioritizing high-ROI workloads, reducing external capacity. This tightens cloud availability, increases pricing volatility, and elevates the importance of reserved capacity,” said Manish Rawat, semiconductor analyst at TechInsights. He…

There’s often a disconnect between what a webpage says it’s about and what its audience is actually searching for. This mismatch has always existed. But the stakes are higher now. If your page fails to match user intent, it won’t show up in AI-powered search surfaces. Search engines will find a page that delivers. You can see the mismatch, but it’s hard to quantify. The data to measure it is already in your Google Search Console account. Below, you can analyze your own pages to see how closely your content aligns with what your audience is searching for. Measuring the…

With a starting price of $2,000, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is already among the most expensive phones on sale in the US. Samsung’s attractive trade-in deals and offers help soften the blow, but it’s still a pricey purchase. And now, thanks to the ongoing DRAM and NAND crisis, the foldable has become even more expensive. As spotted by 9to5Google, Samsung has raised the prices of the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 512GB and 1TB variants by $80 — all without any announcement. At launch, the 512GB and 1TB configurations carried an MSRP of $2,119 and $2,419. Now, they are…

I just blinked and the first quarter of the year is GONE. Where does the time go? I looked back at my article from last month where I touched on the use of AI and some of the vulnerabilities associated with it and realized it was good precursor to some themes at RSAC this year. AI was certainly the focus this year, with almost everyone having some form of AI connection to their products (some maybe just on paper?). But I think the biggest message, especially while we are in the early days of adoption, is the importance of human…

A SISTRIX analysis of German search data found far more losers than winners after Google’s March core update. The analysis revealed 134 domains experiencing confirmed visibility losses and 32 with gains. SISTRIX determined these figures by examining 1,371 domains showing significant visibility changes, then applying filters such as a 52-week Visibility Index history, 30 days of daily data, and visual confirmation of each domain’s trend. The update began rolling out on March 27 and was completed on April 8, 12 days after launch. It was the first broad core update of 2026 and arrived two days after Google finished the March 2026 spam update.…
