Layoffs spread across tech sectors Beyond Amazon, Meta, and Block, several technology vendors and platform companies have also announced sizable layoffs this year. According to the RationalFX report: Semiconductor and electronics company ams OSRAM has announced 2,000 layoffs. Telecommunications vendor Ericsson has announced 1,900 job cuts.
