A new exploit kit for Apple iOS devices designed to steal sensitive data from is being wielded by multiple threat actors since at least November 2025, according to reports from Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG), iVerify, and Lookout. According to GTIG, multiple commercial surveillance vendors and suspected state-sponsored actors have utilized the full-chain exploit kit, codenamed DarkSword, in distinct campaigns targeting Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, and Ukraine. The discovery of DarkSword makes it the second iOS exploit kit, after Coruna, to be discovered within the span of a month. The kit is designed to target iPhones running iOS versions between…

At 20 kW per rack, the airflow velocity required to maintain safe operating temperatures triggers two failure modes. First, the acoustic vibration becomes severe enough to damage equipment. Organizations learn this lesson the hard way — high-frequency vibration from upgraded CRAC units causing bit errors in high-density Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) storage arrays. The signature is mechanical resonance in drive enclosures. Fans shake storage infrastructure to death. Second, the power required for that airflow becomes self-defeating. At 100 kW densities, nearly 30 percent of the total facility power goes to fans alone — before accounting for compressors and chillers working…
Arcjet has released AI Prompt Injection Protection, a new capability designed to stop prompt injection attacks before they reach production AI models. The feature detects hostile prompts at the application boundary and gives developers a decision point inside the request lifecycle where malicious instructions can be blocked before inference occurs. Companies are shipping AI features into production faster than security review cycles can keep up. As those systems gain access to data, tools, and expensive model endpoints, the security problem shifts from filtering bad text to enforcing policy inside the request lifecycle using real application context. Arcjet is introducing a…
Summary UI Auto-hide removes Vivaldi’s UI for distraction‑free browsing; customizable and toggled with Ctrl+F11 or ⌘+F10 Right‑click links to open as Follower Tabs beside the current tab, avoiding scattered tabs. Vivaldi Mail can open in its own window, and its RAM use has been reduced. In the great browser wars, companies focus on adding new and enhanced features that the others don’t have. However, at the end of the day, the browser acts as a window through which we can, well, browse. And sometimes all those extra features, bars, and pop-ups feel a little too invasive. If you like all…
The report recommends that businesses practice several forms of vigilance to avoid unwittingly hiring Pyongyang’s operatives.
Visibility is no longer just about ranking. It depends on whether your content is discovered, evaluated, and selected in AI-driven search experiences. We’re kicking off our new monthly SMX Now webinar series on April 1 at 1 p.m. ET with iPullRank’s Zach Chahalis, Patrick Schofield, and Garrett Sussman on how you must adapt. The session introduces iPullRank’s Relevance Engineering (r19g) framework for executing Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) through an omnichannel content strategy. You’ll learn how AI search uses query fan-outs to discover and select sources, and how to structure content so it’s retrieved, surfaced, and cited. It also emphasizes that…
I have never been quite as excited about a smart home assistant as I am about Amazon’s Alexa+. It takes everything I already like about Alexa, and makes it not only smarter and more capable, but also more conversational, intelligent, and natural to use. After a demonstration of Alexa+’s talents ahead of a long-time-coming UK launch, it’s shaping up to be the benchmark smart home assistant. Here’s why it impressed me so much. Goodbye old Alexa Welcome to the new world What is Alexa+? It’s old Alexa, but more capable, more personal, smarter, and able to get things done. While…
CISA has ordered U.S. government agencies to secure their servers against an actively exploited vulnerability in the Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS). Zimbra is a very popular email and collaboration software suite used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, including thousands of businesses and hundreds of government agencies. Tracked as CVE-2025-66376 and patched in early November, this high-severity security flaw stems from a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) weakness in the Classic UI that remote unauthenticated attackers could exploit by abusing Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) @import directives in email HTML. While Synacor (the company behind Zimbra) didn’t share any details on…
