While Nothing has yet to deliver a true flagship phone, the brand continues to release devices that stand out from the crowd, which is probably why it appeals to a certain audience. The brand announced two new phones for 2026, with the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and Phone (4a) during Mobile World Congress.
Although the latter will never make its way to the US through official channels, the former is now available for preorder ahead of its retail debut. The Phone (4a) Pro sheds the transparent design we’ve seen with past Nothing phones, delivering a more refined look this time around with its aluminum unibody design.
The hardware
The Phone (4a) Pro retains the Glyph interface, allowing users to get a sense of what’s going on with their phone without having to turn the screen on. When it comes to the hardware, you’re getting a balanced device here, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip that’s paired with 8GB and 128GB of storage, or 12GB of RAM, and to 256GB of storage.
There’s a triple camera setup on the rear, with a 50MP main, 50MP periscope zoom, and 8MP ultrawide. Nothing OS is just as quick as ever, bringing the latest version of Android and all its associated features. While this phone might not be for everyone, it’s certainly a great option if you want something different.
Preorders are now live
This phone is set to make its way to retail on March 27, 2026. So, ahead of its official release, Nothing and Amazon are offering a pretty good incentive to preorder with a $100 coupon/gift card.
